Project Timeline/ Schedule

Creating a timeline or a schedule is vital to the success of my portfolio project as it helps to organize all necessary tasks. It also helps to breakdown large tasks so that they don't seem so difficult. A timeline is especially important for a long-term project such as this one as it has so many components to it. Of course this timeline isn't final and is subject to change. Below is a timeline my group and I have created to keep us organized.

Time line

Week One (1/29- 2/2)

  • Research on potential genre.
Week Two (2/3- 2/9)
  • Figure out plotline (beginning, middle, end)
  • Character work (motivations, mis-en-scene, mood boards etc.)
  • Begin planning storyboard
  • Create film schedule for the rest of February
Week Three (2/10- 2/16)
  • Write script
  • Find actors
  • Find filming locations
  • Possibly begin filming
Week Four (2/17-2/23)
  • Continue/finish filming
  • Record voice overs (if needed)
  • Find/ record foley sounds (if needed)
Week Five (2/24- 3/2)
  • Finish filming/ re-record
  • begin editing process
Week Six (3/3- 3/9)
  • Continue/finish editing
  • Plan CCR
Week seven (3/10- 3/16)
  • Film/focus on CCR
Week Eight (3/17- 3/25)
  • Buffer week
